Shoot with care
Most of the associated plants that live in the same environment as the Joshua Tree can create painful injuries; especially the ever present "cholla" cactus. Rubbing up against it can be dangerous. NO DRONES ALLOWED

About this spot
This is a 5-mile, moderately strenuous hiking loop in the Joshua Tree National Park. The entire park and all the trails are a monument to the Joshua Tree and the park's unique rock formations. There are several trails from this point and any one of them will provide opportunities for capturing the unique Joshua Tree in a variety of backdrops. The park can become quite busy in the summer since the whole of Los Angeles drives over in a couple of hours.
This is California High Desert so summer temperatures are hazardous and can be deadly. Pay attention to all warnings and during the summer prepare appropriately for adverse weather conditions!
