About this spot
There are countless, lovely walk along the Thames just west of London. Plan to be inspired no matter the day, no matter the weather. St Mary Magdalene’s was founded in the 12th C and was built to serve the bargemen. The quay is long gone, but barges were loaded here with timber from the Windsor Forest for shipment downriver.
