Long Canyon is a pretty red-rock canyon in the northern portion of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument between Boulder and Capital Reef National Park. The Burr Trail, a paved road, runs through Long Canyon providing easy access. At several locations (this spot being one) you can find large holes, locally called Swiss Cheese, in the canyon walls.
