About this spot
Long Canyon is a pretty red-rock canyon in the northern portion of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument between Boulder and Capital Reef National Park. The Burr Trail, a paved road, runs through Long Canyon providing easy access. Near the upper end of the canyon, Burr Trail traverses by several hoodoos, which are the subject of this spot. One has an impressively large boulder balanced on top, and the others are tall and more graceful.
