The Grote Markt (or "Grand Place") in Leuven, Belgium is the central square of the city and a popular tourist destination. The square is surrounded by historic buildings, including the 15th-century Gothic Town Hall and the 14th-century St. Peter's Church. The square is also the location of the weekly market, where locals and visitors can purchase fresh produce, clothing and other items.

The Grote Markt is also a popular spot for events and festivals throughout the year, such as the Leuven Festivals, Christmas market and the annual beer festival. It is a vibrant area with cafes and restaurants, where visitors can enjoy a meal or a drink while taking in the sights and sounds of the square.

The Grote Markt is considered as one of the most beautiful squares in Belgium, it's also a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
