About this spot
Calaita Lake rises on a plateau and is surrounded to the northwest by the first mountains of the Lagorai group. The plain, used as a summer pasture, is surrounded by fir trees and larches. The landscape is reminiscent of the Canadian mountains.
The lake is a popular site, especially during the summer where the opportunity to enjoy the cool temperatures and to take walks is very much appreciated. From the lake there is a very interesting glimpse of the Pale di San Martino where these are reflected on its waters.
