The covered market on the edge of Place Paoli is one of the main monuments in Ile Rousse. It was built in 1845 and has the appearance of a Greek temple.
Every morning from 7am to 12pm there are stalls selling fish and seafood, local charcuterie, cheeses, wines, honey and locally grown fruit and vegetables.
