This route along the Hoëgne River is one of the most beautiful in the Ardennes with its decking, wooden bridges and many forest trails.
This is a trail that is actually beautiful to discover in every season. In the warm summer months, the rippling river and the canopy of the trees provide cooling. Let your bare feet dangle in the flowing water, especially on a nice day. In the summer, the river usually ripples quietly through the valley.
In autumn, the beautiful color palette of the trees provides a pleasant view. And when there has been a lot of rain, the river can swirl nicely, which makes the route nice and adventurous.
In winter you can enjoy peace and contemplation and the stillness in nature. The opposite is spring. With its awakening nature, early greenery and often heavily flowing river water, this season is also a wonderful time to photograph here.
