About this spot
The picturesque town of Kazimierz Dolny is a photographers' paradise. Situated on the banks of the Vistula River, Kazimierz Dolny features colorful historic architecture, cobblestone streets, and panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Above the parish church, a path to the right leads to the Hill of Three Crosses, which stand to commemorate victims of the plagues that swept through the town in the 18th century. Some believe the site was created to ward off the plague and cholera epidemics.
