About this spot
Besides being an excellent viewpoint of both the northern half of Fuerteventura as Betancuria Valley, there are two impressive bronze statues representing the Kings of Ancient Fuerteventura before the conquest in 1402, Ayose and Guise. They ruled the two kingdoms which divided the island and were separated by a defensive wall which is believed to have been located where now stands this viewpoint. The statues of the two kings are bronze and measure nearly four meters high.
