Goblin Valley is a fantasyland of hoodoos - filled with all forms of rock goblins and other creatures. The shallow valley (known as Valley 1) below the Goblin Overlook is contains thousands of rock formations of all shapes and sizes. The site was made famous as the home of the rock creature in the movie Galaxy Quest.
South of Valley 1 are two more valleys filled with hoodoos within the state park, and additional hoodoos further south outside of the state park.
