About this spot
Fanes - Sennes - Braies nature park is a lovely place in Dolomites that is not too busy with mass tourism. One reason is that it is accessible only by hiking. And there are no dramatic peaks around, such as Tre Cime. This is a beautiful and well preserved natural area where traditional pastures coexist with fragile Alpine nature.
Two mountain huts (rifugios) are located at this spot, Lavarella and Fanes huts both offer accommodation and food.
