About this spot
This is the oldest and most iconic bar in Seville – and some say, Spain – dating to 1670.
In spite of its fame, the establishment has managed to retain a gnarled sense of authenticity. With its dark wood ceilings, dusty bottles of wine decorating the walls, jamón hanging from the ceiling (just as it always had been), bills marked up on the bar top in chalk, and gruff but friendly waiters.
