About this spot
The Cuillin is a range of rocky mountains located on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The main Cuillin ridge is also known as the Black Cuillin to distinguish it from the Red Cuillin, which lie to the east of Glen Sligachan.
The dramatic shape of the mountains makes them very photogenic, with many different viewpoints being used and captured by landscape photographers. The A863 viewpoint offers beautiful compositions full of leading lines and impressive mountain shapes.
