Cruachan Reservoir feeds a working hydro electric power station on the banks of Loch Awe. Sheep roam the mountain side dam vehicles use the access road.

About this spot
At approx 1400 feet (427 meters) the Reservoir is north west of Loch Awe. It is used for the Cruachan Hydro Electric Power station, created in the 1960s. The dam is 316 metres long.
