The poet Sir John Betjeman called Clevedon Pier ‘ The most beautiful pier in England’ high praise indeed. Opened in 1869 it is the only grade 1 listed Pier in the U/K. Poplar for film and TV locations as diverse as Eastenders, Coast and Casualty the pier overlooks the Severn estuary separating South West England from South Wales.
