Shoot with care
A very busy spot, with huge religious significance. Respect people here to pray, and be aware you may be sharing the space with large numbers of tourists, often in big organised groups.

About this spot
Located in the warren of passageways of old Jerusalem, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre is an important church, originally consecrated in 335. It's been rebuilt and expanded over the years but remains standing to this day.
There's much to see, but it's most notable for being the alleged site of the crucifixion, along with the tomb where Jesus subsequently rose. The tomb itself is a small chapel located within the much larger rotunda, and this is probably the main point of interest for photographers.
