About this spot
Central Market, the largest market in Hoi An, is near the center of Old Town on the bank of Thu Bon River. The market is always crowded and is a gathering place for the locals to buy food such as meats, veggies, fish, and other misc. items.

The market is always best in the morning before stalls close and fresh produce sells out. Think about getting up early and finding breakfast at one of the street food stalls. Try the rice dumplings, pho, banh mi, spring rolls, Vietnamese pancakes, or cao lau.

There are different sections of the market. The yellow “Cho Hoi An” building is home to the stalls. Out the back, on Bach Dang Street, along the river, is the fresh fruit and vegetable market. At the corner of Tran Quy Cap and Tran Phu is the “food hall.”
