About this spot
Cattedrale Santa Maria Assunta is the main church of Ostuni. The cathedral is located on top of the hill, in the midst of the old historical town. Its beginnings go back to 10th century but after an earthquake in 15th century it was rebuilt in Gothic style. Its front facade features a beautiful rosetta. Interior is rich with paintings - look up the ceiling and amazing altars that are true piece of art.
