The Scenic Drive is a 7.9 mile (12.7 km) paved road that starts at Fruita and runs south along the Waterpocket Fold (the main cliff-forming geologic formation in Capital Reef National Park). The road suitable for all passenger vehicles. There are two dirt/gravel spur roads off the Scenic Drive into Grand Washin and Capital Gorge that are also suitable for most cars.
