About this spot
Camasunary is a bay on the Strathaird peninsula of the Isle of Skye. Camasunary is the Scots form of the Gaelic name Camas Fhionnairigh and means "Bay of the White Shieling".
The bay neighbours the more famous Loch Coruisk, which can be accessed from the Camasunary side but is not recommended for the average walkers as it involves crossing the 'Bad Step'.
