About this spot
The Cai Rang Floating Market is the largest floating market in the Mekong Delta. Locals have been shopping at this busy floating grocery store for over a century. During peak hours, the river becomes a maze of hundreds of wooden boats packed with fruit, veggies, rice, and other goods.

No billboards are needed here—the boats display their wares on a bamboo pole called a “Cay Beo” so you can easily see what they have available.

Besides the buying and selling of products, you also have a chance to experience a wide variety of street food like pho, hu tieu, bun rieu and com tam. The floating restaurants serve breakfast for both sellers and shoppers.

Cai Rang Floating Market was voted as one of the 10 most impressive markets in the world by the British publication Rough Guide.
