About this spot
The Park has a playground, kayak launch, and museum. It is next to the little town of Bothell itself, which offers lots of opportunities for photos. From the Park you can take a little bridge to the other side of the Sammamish River, and that connects to the River Trail (which goes all the way to Redmond on one side, and to Puget Sound on the other. This particular section of the River Trail has great views of the River, the surrounding forest area, and events like bicycle and running races are held on the trail. The forest holds interest year round. In the summer, hot air balloons will be seen overhead at times.
