Shoot with care
Area of remote natural beauty. Pack out all litter and leave no trace of your visit. Also, take care when traveling off the road in this area. The landscape is fragile, particularly when wet, and footprints can last for months.

About this spot
Cathedral Valley in Capital Reef National Park is one of the most amazing places in the American Southwest, yet it is rarely visited because of its remote nature and access requiring a 4-wheel drive vehicle. The valley is surrounded by colorful canyon walls and contains large butte formations reminiscent of large cathedrals.

This spot is actually outside the National Park. The spot consists of colorful badlands reached prior to entering (or after leaving) the valley proper.
