The Bay of Bones is an archaeological site located on the shores of Lake Ohrid in North Macedonia. It is believed to be a prehistoric pile dwelling settlement, dating back to the Bronze Age. The site consists of a reconstructed pile dwelling and a museum, which showcase the artifacts and the way of life of the ancient inhabitants of the area. The name "Bay of Bones" comes from the numerous piles of animal bones that were found at the site. The Bay of Bones is open to the public and is a popular tourist destination in the region.
