Shoot with care
A lot of people visit here for quiet reflection. When shooting, bear this in mind.

About this spot
Built in 1967 on the hill Tsitsernakaberd, the Armenian Genocide Memorial remembers the 1.5 million Armenians killed in the genocide during WWI.

The design features a 44m tall needle, and close by, 12 large slabs arranged in a circle to represent the 12 Armenian provinces in modern Turkey which were lost.

In the centre of this circle an eternal flame burns, 1.5 metres below the ground level (to represent the 1.5 million).

There's a museum close by, although I did not visit this.
