About this spot

Alpe di Siusi is the highest populated plateau in Europe at an altitude of around 2000m. In this special place there is a nearly infinite number of creative photo opportunities to be had. Alpe di Siusi spans an area of 56 square kilometers in the Trentino Alto Adige region, Bolzano province,
and includes some 800 different species of wild flowers, rustic wooden huts, murmuring streams and small ponds.

All around the plateau there are well-known mountains like Sciliar , Catinaccio , Sassopiatto , Sassolungo . During late spring and summer season all the meadows are full of wild flowers so the colors are really interesting. Most of the hotels are located in Compaccio but there are others dotted around other interesting areas of the plateau. There are also 2 little artificial lakes in which to capture reflections.
