This old house is located right off Highway 2 as your driving east from the small town of Douglas. You'll have to park up the hill for safety and walk down behind the guardrail where you'll get a birdseye vies of it. The dirt road that was leading to it was marked private so out of respect, I found this alternate location. It's GPS coordinates are: 47.617585, -120.004721

These old barns are in Douglas County, Washington near the old community of Farmer. The location is safe and easy to get to with parking off the main road. It is found approximately 3/4 mile north of Highway 2 and will be on the east side of Road C NW. Either a wide-angle or telephoto lens could be used. GPS coordinates: 47.621532, -119.813449

It's not often you'll find a full windmill on a property as many have been stolen, or simply removed by the property owner. This property caught my eye located on Rd 1 SW and K Rd SW in Waterville area East of the small town of Douglas. GPS coordinates are: 47.597549, -119.971316.

There is nothing too special about this old wheat harvester but it was fun to see how far technology has taken the equipment. It is located 3 miles south of Highway 2 on K Rd SW east of the small town of Douglas. Follow K Rd SW until you get to the T intersection of 3 Rd SW, turn left and it will be shortly seen in the distance further south from the road. It's GPS coordinates are: 47.568067, -119.981849

Shoot with care
Douglas County has MANY abandoned homesteads (farms) all of which are on private land. Some places have signs indicating keep out, so be respectful and go away only with photographic memories. There are also working wheatfields and when it's planted you don't want to be trampling the fields just to get your picture! Shoot from the roadside.
