The privately owned Bloedel Reserve contains 150 acres of world-class gardens. There are twelve distinct gardens in the Reserve including a Japanese garden, a moss garden, a bird marsh, and a formal English garden. The Bloedel mansion, overlooking Puget Sound, now serves as visitor center.
