About this spot
Salt Creek Recreation Area is located on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, directly south of Vancouver Island and is renown for its excellent tide pools. This park is also a mecca for kayakers, surfers, mountain bikers, hikers and anglers. Other features of the area include the overgrown bunkers of Camp Hayden, an old WW11 fort, a sandy beach, and numerous view points on the hills and bluffs around the park. http://www.clallam.net/Parks/SaltCreek.html
