At 11,000 feet (3700 meters), Spring arrives late and remains only a few weeks. These Indian Paintbrush flowers were take in late summer along flat, pooling area of an intermittent high mountain stream. I need to lie on my front to get the camera down level with these 3-4 inch ( 1.25-1.6 cm) tall flowers.
