Most stop 1/3rd of the way up to shoot the lone tree over hanging Afon Lloer, but keep climbing and beginning the ascent up Pen Yr Ole Wen you will find stone walls and stiles which make for a different composition. This means a 45 minute - hours climb and several river crossings.
