I'm a landscape photographer who prefers exploring rather that planning. Once I have a rough idea of where I want to go - often based upon curiosity or the recommendations of others - then it's usually a quick check of the weather and tide forecasts before I'm on my way. Yes this means that many of my trips are fruitless in terms of killer images but I still learn a lot about each location and potential compositions, meaning that I can head back there when conditions are better. My favourite places to explore involve Cornwall, the Lake District and the Peak District, and you can often find me up to my waist in water as I shoot seascapes, lakes and waterfalls. If you recognise me then don't be afraid to say hello.
