We are delighted to announce that version 1.2 of SNAPP Guides is now available for both iOS and Android and hope that you will enjoy the upgrades.
Now you can:
- Access purchased guides instantly online
- Choose to download a guide to your mobile device for off-line use
- Store a guide in the cloud for a future trip
- Reset your password in-app
View a purchased guide online:
Open MY GUIDES, select & use the guide you want to view. The download icon indicates you have not downloaded this guide to your phone.
Download a guide for offline use
Tap the download icon in the top right corner of the screen and make sure you have a good wifi connection. The guide will take up to a few minutes to download for use offline. Once a guide is downloaded to your mobile device, a “bin” icon will show in the top right hand corner.
Remove a guide
To remove a guide from your phone and leave it stored in the cloud for a future trip, select the guide you want to remove and tap the “bin” icon in the top right corner. You will still see the guide in your list of MY GUIDES but will now only be able to view it when online. Re-download the guide to your mobile device anytime you want to use it off-line.
Reset your password
If you forget or want to change your password, select Forgot Your Password on the login screen and choose a new one. Click the link in the confirmation email before accessing your SNAPP Guides user account.
