Experience the best of PhotoHound with Premium
Today we’re launching PhotoHound Premium, our monthly and annual paid subscription options for PhotoHounders looking for even more from every shoot; have full access to all features in the new PhotoHound app, use our pro planning tools, create unlimited customised collections and support our responsible photography initiatives.
Our pledge to ensure that PhotoHound remains free to our photo community is unchanged. As a Free member, you’ll still be able to find and get to incredible photo locations using the website, and can download the new PhotoHound app to browse our handy guides on the go. You can view all spot information, including responsible photography tips, and can add up to 10 of your favourite spots to a customised collection to help plan your next trip.
What you get with Premium
In addition to all of our great free features, Premium members can create unlimited customised collections and view them in the PhotoHound app as well as on the website, meaning you can save favourite photo spots, make trip itineraries and bucket lists or keep records of locations you’ve shot, and view them on the go.
With access to advanced navigation tools you can zoom in for more precise locations on maps and switch between satellite and street view. You’ll be able to open navigation directly from the app or website to use Google Maps, Waze or What3Words and easily find your way to a spot location.
Use the handy 7 day weather forecast to check the website for best times and conditions and have access to our sun and moon tracker to know where they will rise and set on the day of your shoot. You’ll also be able to view webcams to check current conditions close to your chosen locations.

We have so many more features we want to bring you! As passionate photographers ourselves we’re keen to create the ultimate planning tool for landscape and travel photographers. But development takes time and money, and the four of us are bootstrapping this venture all the way. By purchasing a monthly or annual membership, you’ll be supporting the team to develop exciting new features for both our web and mobile applications. Here’s just a taste of what’s to come:
