This phot spot is along the road to Thurmond, with a drop to a river and potential wet rocks. Please be careful when approaching the best view of the water, and avoid damaging the plants growing there.
About this spot
This is a location along Dunlop Creek in New River Gorge National River called Dunlop Falls. Depending on the time of year and/or how wet it has recently been in the area Dunlop Falls can vary from a small to large amount of water flowing, with its most photogenic being on the low end. At moderate flow there are three sections to the falls, with the left-two being easier to photograph well.
