Worcester Cathedral is a medieval cathedral located in the city of Worcester, England. It is the burial place of King John and Prince Arthur, brothers of King Richard the Lionheart. The cathedral is known for its impressive Norman architecture, which dates back to the 11th century. It features a variety of architectural styles, including Gothic, Romanesque, and Perpendicular. The cathedral also has a number of notable features such as an ornate chapter house, a 14th-century cloister and a beautiful stained-glass windows. The Worcester Cathedral Library holds a number of rare books and manuscripts, including a 12th-century copy of the Worcester Gospels. It is a place of worship, as well as a popular tourist destination.
