About this spot
The Willis Creek Narrows is an easily accessible slot canyon with a shallow stream running through it in the western portion of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. There are two sets of narrows in the canyon, one close to the trailhead and the other close to where WIllis Creek intersects with Averett Creek some 1.3 miles from the trailhead. Both sets of slots are photogenic.
