About this spot
The White House Ruins are one of the most impressive ruins in Canyon de Chelly National Monument and the only one that can be visited independently without a Navajo Guide. The hike drops about 600 feet down the canyon wall before leveling out along the floor of the canyon, passing fields and hogans (both off limits to hikers) on the way to the ruin.
