United States Weeping Rock

About this spot
Weeping Rock has a lot going for itself: the widest view of the southern part of the canyon, the clear raindrops percolating from the alcove above your head, and some wild patterns and colors making for interesting abstracts.

A short trail leads behind the curtain of water droplets – the end result of a 2-year voyage through the porous rock.

Weeping Rock is also the trailhead for two of the high elevation hikes out of the canyon, but it is also an extremely popular attraction in its own right, thanks in a great part to the short walk from the shuttle stop.
