About this spot
The Vette Feltrine are an integral part of the Belluno Dolomites National Park and occupy the southern part of the Dolomite Group. This is a lesser known area of the Dolomites but no less beautiful and interesting. The group includes some very interesting peaks, such as the Pavione, the Sasso Scarnia, the Pizzocco up to the Cimonega Group with its highest and most famous peak: the Sass de Mura which reaches 2550m.
Inside there are some pearls such as the Busa di Erera (Plateau of Erera) and above all the Busa delle Vette (Plateau of Vette) also called the Plateau of wonders with the great variety of the present flora and Busa di Neva (Plateau of Neva). Reaching the highlands (2000 meters above sea level) is not always easy because access is represented by paths or pastoral roads forbidden to transit by any mechanical means. The walks on these mountains are however very pleasant and especially in summer they are very popular. In the lower areas of Vette Feltrine you’ll find many gems like the little waterfalls of the Stien river which flow into the San Martino Valley.

The most interesting photographic points are Busa delle Vette (Plateau of Vette), Busa di Erera (Plateau of Erera) and Busa di Neva (Plateau of Neva). All three are glacial circus. However, the whole area of the Vette Feltrine is very interesting from a photographic point of view because of the numerous waterfalls, gorges, peaks.
