About this spot
The haven hotel is an iconic hotel and a fine example of 1920s architecture, steeped in history, Marconi established a wireless transmitter here. Photographs and information of these experiments are still on display in the Marconi lounge in the hotel. Good spot for photographing the ferry and lots of sea craft which throw up some photogenic swells in the water. Turn to the right and there are shots to be had of the beautiful houses along the beach front.
