The Stonehenge Memorial is dedicated to the 14 servicemen of Klickitat County who lost their lives in World War I. Short ceremonies are held at 9:30AM on the anniversaries of the death of each of the 14 men. Additionally, others may pay their respects on other days as well.

About this spot
The Stonehenge Memorial is a replica of of the more famous Stonehenge located in located in England. The memorial was built in the early 1900s by a wealthy local Columbia Gorge resident, Sam Hill. It is dedicated to Klickitat County servicemen who died in World War I. There is also a Klickitat veterans memorial on the site. The Stonehenge Memorial was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021
