About this spot
Within the walls of Prague Castle an amazing cathedral can be found which is the St. Vitus Cathedral, the largest and the most important temple in Prague.
To the casual observer, St. Vitus Cathedral (Katedrála sv. Víta) is Prague Castle because it is the one building that dominates the city skyline of Prague although in reality it is just one of many buildings contained within the Prague Castle complex.
The St. Vitus Cathedral is a Gothic masterpiece and the spiritual symbol of the Czech state.
