About this spot
The setting of this small church is idyllic, in what is in any case one of the loveliest parts of East Anglia. It is set a few hundred yards off of a minor road across a meadow beside the gentle River Brett in a hilly, tree-surrounded graveyard still higgledy-piggledy with 18th and 19th Century memorials.

A striking feature is the marble Edwardian angel scattering roses to the east of the church, which is illuminated by the suns rays slanting from beyond the tower.
