About this spot
Pueblo Bonito is a ruin of an Ancestral Puebloan great house in Chaco Culture National Historical Park. It was reportedly built and occupied in stages between AD 850 to AD 1150. The National Park Service says, at the time, it was the center of the Chacoan world, and some scholars call it an archeological icon on par with s Stonehenge and Machu Picchu.
