Shoot with care
Kaskey, the artist, says he has no intention of ever selling his rights to Portlandia to the city and fiercely protects the intellectual property rights to the sculpture. Therefore you can enjoy the sculpture and photograph it, but you may not do so for commercial gain without permission from the artist.

About this spot
Portlandia is a sculpture by Raymond Kaskey found above the entrance of the Portland Building. It is the second-largest copper repoussé statue in the United States, after the Statue of Liberty.
