At the side of the East Dorset Sailing Club is a beach walkway going to Evening Hill and toward Poole. From this shooting spot there are views to Brownsea Island nature reserve and Poole harbour. There is also a ferry route from Cherbourg and the Channel isles as well as a haven for birds. In front of the vantage point is a derelict pier structure so lots to go at.
