About this spot
Passo delle Erbe/ Würzjoch is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.987m (6,519ft) above the sea level, located in the heart of the Dolomites in South Tyrol, Italy.

Great photographic points of interest are to be found over the entire area of the pass, from the points closest to the Sass de Putia to the farthest points where it is visible.

Passo delle Erbe may be less well known than many other Dolomite passes, such as Falzarego and Giau, but it’s no less beautiful or interesting, also from a photographic point of view. The whole area of the pass is very wide and compared to much more famous Passes it seems to be much more wild. The pass is dominated by the beautiful form of the Sass de Putia; a beautiful ring ride around the famous mountain makes it possible to make one of the most beautiful walks of the entire Dolomites.
