About this spot
2 Russian street art artists, Gooze and Bozik, turn the bare wall into the largest mural in Europe. Yet it is a Hals work of art, because it features 4 Hals children.

The mural tells the story of 'the enchantment'. A boy and a girl walk to school along the Senne every day, but every day they see more litter. The children start folding the leftover rubbish of birds and animals, so that suddenly the Zenne is a lot cleaner and more animals are spotted. The mission is to make people aware of that beautiful blue-green vein that runs through Halle.

The 4 children drawn on the mural actually exist. These 4 children were selected from more than 130 photos submitted.

The artwork has a surface area of 2000 m² and is realized with non-profit organization Treepack. They introduced the 2 artists. Gooze and Bozik are internationally recognized and you can find their works all over the world.
